People want to know about the companies with whom they’ll work. How can you let potential customers know about you?
The first place to start is with your website. Be sure to include an “about you” page, and if you have a good one a photo of yourself. Tell your story in a concise way that demonstrates your expertise and passion for the job. Include awards, years in business and your business philosophy.
What better way for a customer to know about you than to hear it from other satisfied clients. Include a page on your website of reviews clients have written. Also in person give a prospective client a list of customers that will answer questions about the work you provided.
Setup social marketing for your business. In this venue you will comment on local events, provide hints from your industry and interact with followers. You’ll have a quick way to respond to questions or comments from current customers and ask their help in letting others know about you. It is also a great place to announce special pricing or offer discounts.
Finally if you don’t have one, think of a tagline – basically your motto in a nutshell – for your business. This one line should be included on all your marketing pieces. Remember to use the same colors and design and soon your business name will be recognized at first glance.
